Dr Saad Al-Khalaf

Dr Saad al-Khalaf, a consultant general psychiatrist with years of experience is located in Guildford. He also covers areas of Hampshire and London. Jennifer Laidlaw completed her MD at the University of British Columbia (UBC) prior to finishing her residency in psychiatry with the University of Toronto. During her time in Toronto, she was avidly involved in medical education and has presented at international conferences and published on the topic of delirium screening as well as professionalism and social media. She began her career at Surrey Memorial Hospital as the Head Consultation Liaison (CL) in Psychiatry. Her primary focus was creating a flourishing highly collaborative CL service that provided psychiatric treatment to patients in the surgical and medical units including the Palliative and Oncology Units. She also was awarded a Facilities Engagement grant to create guidelines for the management of vulnerable patients in hospital.

She is the Provincial Practice Leader for Psychiatry at BC Cancer, Clinical Associate Professor at UBC and Past-President of the BC Psychiatric Association. She is also an assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Tufts University School of Medicine and an adjunct faculty member of the UM PM&R and Family Medicine residency programs. She has a longstanding interest in musculoskeletal education and research. She is currently teaching Neuromuscular and musculoskeletal medicine to Family Medicine residents and has ongoing research projects related to musculoskeletal health electrodiagnostic medicine, as well as performing arts medicine.

Dr. Pulkit Singh completed her medical degree at the University of New South Wales before completing her Psychiatry residency at the University of British Columbia. Dr Theresa Lo completed medical school and a psychiatry residency at the University of British Columbia.
